Two mothers and two daughters were fishing. They managed to catch one big fish, one small fish, and one fat fish. Since only three fish were caught, how is it possible that they each took home a fish?
There were only three fisherwomen: Lady A: MOTHER of Lady B, (GRANDMOTHER of Lady C) Lady B: MOTHER of Lady C, DAUGHTER of Lady A Lady C: DAUGHTER of Lady B
Two MOTHERS, two DAUGHTERS, but three people, each taking home a fish, their size size being a (... ahem...) red herring. Mark

Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to have to take it up a notch! These are way too easy.
Or, I had too much time on my hands.
