How I hate Brush Script. The sight of it makes me cringe! I could never imagine an application to which Brush Script would be acceptable. For the good of mankind, I’ve been known to delete Brush Script from font servers as to maintain the integrity of an agency’s font collection. But, to my amazement today, I came across these vintage hat boxes. In all it’s glory, there it was... Brush Script. Looking all retro-chic. Edna even spent money to have it embossed in gold foil!! Son of a... (beep) I adore it. Yes, even with that bad kerning. Dare I say, it has some charm.
And, with that I wrap up my week of typography!
